As we approach the deadline for the 2009 $8,000 first time home buyer tax credit, it seem as if there are calls to extend the tax credit.  Kenneth R. Harney had this article in the Seattle Times:

Also Forbes.com always has some great input in the National Picture. Here is a look of where home prices are hitting bottom.

It was reported that home sales hit a bump in August.

Most folks predict a rebound, however I am sure that the rebound will look more like a L than a V.  The good news is that the Seattle Area is expected to be in the top of the cities to recover in the  5 year projections.
