The Truth about today's Market.(that nobody is talking about)

It is easy to understand why you might lack confidence in buying or selling a  home in today's economic climate, especially if you started your day reading the newspaper headlines and end it with the evening news.  Bad news can deepen our fears and concerns about the economy.  That news however is changing a bit.  Take a look at some of the most recent news headlines:

One thing you need to remember is that the media like to be dramatic and it selectively reports negative/sensational news to pull in an audience(and advertisers.)

There has been a plethora of reports about foreclosure records and here are the facts.

Fact1

During a recession, those that work hard and focus on taking action will most likely come out ahead when things turn around.  Instead of internalizing the negativity the  headlines can cause, choose to be optimistic and focus on the opportunities around you.

Fact2

The good news is that you have the choice to see yourself as a victim or as a fighter.

Are there people buying and selling homes today? Yes, Here are the local homes sold in the last 90 days.

  • Sammamish – 144 homes and condos sold.
  • Issaquah – 221 homes and condos sold
  • Redmond – 276 homes and condos sold

One Response to Good News for Today’s Home Buyers

  1. Great Article Dan!! Not only is the weather heating up, but the housing market is as well!! Thank you for the knowledge that you bring to us about the local market.
Lastly, I think it’s important to note that people shouldn’t be intimated or afraid to inquire about their financing situation for purchasing. Don’t let that be the reason you’re not getting into a new home. Lending institutions are more than willing to tell you what you need to do and with how much $$ in order to buy, move up, or invest in real estate. Northstone Real Estate, and Dan specifically, is well connected to be able to provide people with answers to all their real estate questions and/or fears.
