Holiday Memories at home
This time of year we all have fond memories of holiday seasons past. One of the greatest things about being in the real estate profession is that I get a chance to be a part of creating those memories. Ok maybe only a small part. To all of you enjoying your new home this holiday season, I wish you well.
As many of you are traveling to locations around the world, many are traveling home. What is your fondest memory of home this season? Some of you may go way back in time, others may have some fantastic recent memories. Is it dinner with cousins? Chanukah Celebrations? We would love to hear your memories. I will start:
I remember my brothers and I waking up at 4:30 in the morning to see what Santa Clause left for us under the tree. I remember my father coming out of the bedroom sleepy-eyed and groggy. The best thing about this was that he didn't shoo us back to bed, instead he got down on the carpet and began the task of putting together the GI Joe toy. I remember the family room was littered with wrapping paper. But most of all I remember the warmth of my father playing with me.
With me in the father role, now I enjoy each Christmas morning when my kids wake me up before the crack of dawn to see what Santa has brought them, and guess what…my son was up at 4AM….payback huh dad!
Happy Holidays all.
